Proper rallying ! Great drivers , no fancy technology just skill ! And I wonder where all those cars and drivers are now ? How I enjoyed those times 😀
Enzo is a spoil brat. He is a tough guy wannabe.
It's hard to believe that cloth helmets were still being worn in 1951.
Kilomita
The design is satisfying. While 65 and 68 was morphing, it was 69 and downright 1970 that started to look more familiar with nowadays because of the wider introduction of wings. It is outstanding to see the aerodynamics evolving so damn fast from one year to another.
Bad Audio. Out of cinque.
Fantastic race. A track "full of" Cows, Busses, pedestrians andwagons and lorries. Amazing venture I would guess.
The Coopers were Weber carburetted
Amazing that Monaco was Clark's favourite race and he never won it (Graham did 5 times) and the British GP was Graham's favourite and HE never won it (Jimmy won 5 times!).
Uno de los Mejores entre todos los tiempos❤
I saw the GTP race in Kansas in 89'...Geoff Brabham won that in the Nissan GTP turbo...the Jags were there as well as the Porsche 962...Similar to the sounds of this race but not nearly as cool 😎.
"I shall be getting drunk"
When real cars still drove in rallies and not plastic boxes with roll cages like today.
Gilles Villeneuve the GOAT ! Betrayed by Pironi... 😞
Amazing cars for national championships.
24:46 fried Cosworth
Der Fahrer tut viel tun.😂
Ferrari won. Matra cheated. Made an illegal repair and EVERYONE knew it. France wanted an all French win. They got it. French car and French drivers. Enzo knew it. Think maybe that is why he never had his cars race there again. Only after he died did Ferrari cars return. REAL winners MERZARIO & PACE. Look it up. Wait, most publications that reported it 1973 have deleted it from current online stories.
If anyone has full footage of the 1973 Monte Carlo, put a link in this
Man that wind. It must have been so cold
This video is great thanks for uploading this r.i.p aryton senna🇲🇨
Thank you for the upload. Amazing.
Que recuerdos😢😢. Cuando todos los coches eran diferentes, opel, Renault, seat, lancia, fiat, porsche, ford, autobianchi,..etc
The upbeat music is superb. How many people died that year?
In 1953, worldwide? Probably millions and millions.
@@AmericasChoice the weakness of your pedantic attempt at humor is duly noted.
@@honorguardsfencingclub7322 What? I guess I didn't understand your question. What are you actually asking?
@@AmericasChoice the original post is about the 1953 Mille Miglia, so I thought it was obvious that the question was how many people died at that race in that particular year.
@@honorguardsfencingclub7322 I don't know. But the average from 1927-57 was 4 fatalities per year. Which is, granted, pretty bad.
It's great to hear the team names Brabham, Stewart, and McClaren, as drivers names!!! Years before they were the names of teams!
What a great upload. Given the views a real hidden gem. Thank you!
Make a PC racing sim (simcade-realistic physics and sounds-gameplay) from only Le Mans and GT cars from the 90's that would be awesome, GT2 - GT 1 and LMP's. With a full season in the championship with as highpoint, the Le Mans 24h
what pure sound? your vid doesnt had sound ..only stupid music ..bljakk
I love the look of those 60s early 70s cars.
fantastic commentary…passion ..tifosi..real f1 👍🇮🇹🇩🇪
1973 Monaco GP not 1969!
By chance I’m watching this on the race’s 45th anniversary, the Whittington Brothers are still to me one of the most interesting stories in motorsport and yet even those who love the sport may never have heard of. A family of drug smugglers don’t like how their team wants to stack the driver shifts so they buy the car on the spot with duffel bags of cash, then managed to win the biggest endurance road race in pouring rains with long shot odds and an expectation that the Porsche 936’s would be much faster. After almost retiring several times, they manage to secure the first ever win by a rear-engined car. Did they cheat? Almost definitely, a restoration team found a gap in the driver-side door that team mechanics revealed was meant to hold a nitrous oxide kit that would regularly batter the car’s engine. The Whittington Brothers were instant celebs in motorsport, competing in the Indy 500/NASCAR, albeit with little success. They were often seen at Road Atlanta where they used the back straight as a runway for their planes to land and store massive shipments of weed from their Colombian connections. Eventually the law caught up with these mysterious sponsor-free kingpins, Don receiving 18 months while Bill swallowed 15 years. The story is wild and would make an incredible blockbuster movie one day. Maybe I just gotta be the one to do it.
When racing was racing

I like how his hands tell the story.
Epic ❤❤❤
Lotus ❤️
👍
Flying!!
Grande el Lole !
Everything looks more brutal and faster than today.... especially the way the vehicles stand sideways in the curves... impressive...
You see here the most powerful f1 cars ever.... 😮
Murray walker's voice! 😍
Où est ce temps là 😢
Pescarolo defenitely got the right stuff.
I was 1.5 then
THE best start of any motor race I've been at. I was there, at the start and watching this I still get goosebumps.
Those cars were gasoline bombs. So many drivers were killed in those years. Things had to change, and they did. It was exciting but really dangerous. The only other motorsport that was more deadly were the Isle of Man TT races over the decades. Looking back my view today is that these races extracted a price in lives that was just too high.
Sensacional!
